Does this sound familiar?
Many companies have AI – but no plan that holds up
The tools are there, expectations are high. What is usually missing is not the technology, but direction, structure and consistent implementation.
AI is here, but without a strategy
Isolated tools, plenty of ideas – but no target picture and no prioritisation.
Employees use AI without controls
"Shadow AI" emerges – without rules, roles or clarity on data protection.
Management wants to see value
A comprehensible business rationale is missing instead of hype.
Data protection and the EU AI Act are unclear
Transparency obligations from August 2026 create pressure to act.
Copilot is bought, but unused
Microsoft 365 Copilot lies idle – without rollout and enablement.
Processes are document- and knowledge-heavy
Lots of searching, lots of email – potential for assistants and automation.
Many pilots, no production
Around two-thirds of AI initiatives fail at the leap into operation.
No roles, no roadmap
No one is responsible, and there is no step-by-step plan.
The difference
AI activism — or a plan that holds up
Most initiatives fail not because of the technology, but because of strategy, structure and consistent implementation. That is exactly where we come in.
Without a clear plan
- Scattered tool experiments
- Shadow AI without rules
- Pilots that never go live
- AI know-how with a few individuals
- Gut feeling instead of value
With Wolff Applied AI
- A prioritised roadmap with a clear target picture
- Governance & EU AI Act guardrails
- Support all the way into anchored operation
- Enabled teams and executives
- Comprehensible, measurable economics

Frequently asked questions
Answered briefly and honestly
Is this legal advice?
No. We provide structured technical orientation on the EU AI Act and data protection. A legally binding assessment for your individual case is made by your legal advisor.
What does AI consulting cost?
The AI quick check is free and non-binding. For further services we calculate the effort transparently based on scope and objectives – you receive a clear, comprehensible proposal before any engagement. So you only pay for what genuinely creates value for you.
Who benefits from AI?
Particularly document-, knowledge- and process-intensive organisations in the mid-market. In the initial check we say honestly where AI pays off – and where it does not.
What is the best way to start?
With the free AI initial check or a potential analysis. From this comes a prioritised roadmap – without the risk of a misplaced investment.
Cloud or on-prem?
Both are possible. We weigh cloud, open-source and local options according to data protection, cost and requirements – vendor-independent.
What about data protection?
Data protection is part of the solution from the start: data minimisation, clear roles, a GDPR focus and – where necessary – on-prem processing.
What does the EU AI Act mean for me?
Depending on the application, transparency and documentation obligations apply – chatbots, for instance, must be labelled as AI from August 2026. The quick check classifies your applications.
Can we use existing Microsoft 365 tools?
Yes. Microsoft 365 Copilot is often a fast, low-risk lever. With structured enablement we draw out genuine value.
Can a chatbot and voicebot be integrated?
Yes, including a voicebot/Fonio. We design them in a data-protection-compliant way and labelled as AI under the EU AI Act – as an MVP with an honest assessment before going into production.
