Why this offer matters now

Many companies pay for Copilot licenses, yet everyday usage remains low and inconsistent. The enablement introduces Microsoft 365 Copilot into everyday work in a structured and responsible way over 3–6 weeks. We first check readiness (licenses, permission hygiene, data protection, oversharing risk), develop role-based use cases for Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint, and enable your teams in hands-on sessions. Adoption support with clear metrics ensures that licenses turn into lived productivity.

Starting point

Copilot licenses are purchased, but active usage often remains well below expectations — the bottleneck is missing enablement and unclear use cases, not the technology. Copilot accesses everything the using person is authorized for; permissions in SharePoint/OneDrive that have grown too broad over time lead to oversharing risks that often went unnoticed before. Without role-specific use cases, employees briefly try out Copilot, experience generic results and return to their old way of working. Data protection and permission questions are raised too late during rollouts, leading to uncertainty, shadow usage or blanket bans instead of controlled adoption.

Your benefit

  • A robust readiness assessment: license situation, permission hygiene and data protection implications are transparent, the oversharing risk is named and backed with measures.
  • Role-based, everyday use cases for the central Microsoft 365 apps, through which teams immediately recognize the concrete benefit.
  • Noticeably higher and more consistent Copilot usage through hands-on enablement instead of generic training.
  • A structured rollout and adoption plan with waves, communication and support that carries beyond the project duration.
  • A comprehensible adoption KPI set that makes impact and progress measurable — honest and without exaggerated promises.

A good fit when …

  • You have already licensed Copilot but see little or inconsistent usage in everyday work.
  • You want to introduce Copilot with permissions and data protection in mind — instead of letting it run unmanaged.
  • You are looking for role-specific, concrete value for your teams instead of a generic tool introduction.
  • You want to make adoption measurable and sustain it beyond the introduction.

How we work

5 phases, 2 gates — you decide at every transition.

  1. 01

    Kickoff & goal clarification

We clarify expectations, roles and framework and make clear early on that adoption is a change in behavior — not a guaranteed usage rate. The approach to data protection and permissions (sampling, read-only) is agreed.

  2. 02

    Readiness check

We capture the license and tenant situation, sample-check permission hygiene in SharePoint/OneDrive and assess the oversharing risk as well as data protection implications. The findings are prioritized and recorded in the readiness report.

Gate — your approvalGate 1: Readiness report discussed with IT, oversharing measures agreed, rollout decision (start / clean up first / partial rollout) documented.
  3. 03

    Role-based use cases & enablement

We identify the relevant roles, create a use case catalog for Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint, and enable the teams in hands-on sessions (hybrid possible). Live demos run on non-sensitive examples, complemented by role handouts and a "first week" guide.

  4. 04

Rollout, adoption plan & success measurement

We plan the rollout in waves (pilot/champions → core roles → broad rollout) with a communication and support concept and define an adoption KPI set with baseline, honest target range and measurement source. Sustaining the effort (who maintains use cases and champions?) is considered as well.

  5. 05

    Completion & handover

We hand over all deliverables, explain the rollout plan and KPI set, and honestly assess strengths as well as remaining points. An acceptance protocol closes the project.

Gate — your approvalGate 2: Acceptance — all deliverables as well as sessions and plan/KPIs explained and confirmed.

What you receive

  • Readiness report

Assessment of license situation, permission hygiene (SharePoint/OneDrive) and data protection implications incl. oversharing risk and prioritized measures.

  • Role-based use case catalog

Concrete, everyday use cases per role for Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

  • Enablement sessions & best-practice handouts

Hands-on enablement per role (hybrid possible) with handouts and prompt aids for responsible use.

  • Rollout & adoption plan

Introduction in waves with a communication, support and champion concept to sustain usage.

  • Adoption KPI set

Metrics with baseline, target range and measurement source for an honest measurement of impact and progress.

Base package plus optional modules

The base package stands on its own. Optional modules dock on now or later — you decide how far you go.

Permission hygiene sprint

A focused sprint that prioritizes the oversharing risks found in the readiness check: SharePoint/OneDrive shares that are too broad are systematically worked through and a clean-up approach is put together for IT. Complements the readiness check with concrete implementation support; the productive change on the tenant remains with the customer IT.

available now

Additional role enablement session

Another hands-on session for an additional role or department not covered in the base package — with its own use case catalog and handout. Broadens enablement without changing the rollout plan.

available now

Adoption review

A look back a few months after the introduction: we evaluate the adoption KPI set against the baseline, honestly assess usage and derive adjustments. Sensibly bookable later, once robust usage data is available.

Prerequisites

  • An existing Microsoft 365 environment with assigned Copilot licenses (provided by the customer).
  • Involvement of IT for license and permission questions, as well as a named contact person (IT/project coordination).
  • Read-only access to the required information on license assignments and tenant configuration to the extent necessary.

Your involvement

  • Selection and availability of participants per role for the enablement sessions.
  • Permission clean-up carried out by IT under its own responsibility, if a need for action is identified.
  • Access to existing usage data/adoption reports, insofar as available for success measurement.

Honest scope

  • –Microsoft 365 and Copilot licenses (provided by the customer).
  • –Productive changes to the tenant and the clean-up of permissions — these are the responsibility of the customer IT (WAI prioritizes and advises).
  • –Legally binding data protection assessment: the data protection and permission statements are organizational orientation, not legal advice.

Note: not legal advice. Content with a legal dimension (e.g. EU AI Act, GDPR, ISO/IEC 42001) is professional orientation, not legal counsel.
